    Does anyone else still have that sound distortion loop after 1.3 or am I the only one? It's driving me bats.

    I get it after I close BF2 and sometimes it happens when someone shoots...

    I deleted the entire game and started again from scratch .

    My ingame name is 2ulu.
    I've tried re-installing from scratch, but no luck. Any other ideas?

    is this the one where a particular sound will just play on and on?
    I get it and its crazy!

    i.e. walking to a certain dock there is a constant sound of a machine gun and yet no one there?
    Scares the bejesus out of me!

    I havent seen (har har) it in a while, but I didnt change anything either

    Nope but I get that on occasion; after spawning, I hear arty for a while. It's a distortion, that loops. It's in the background, but just keeps on going.
    I remember I had the same problem (with a different machine) with Battlefield 1942, but an upgrade got rid of it.
