Any New Skateparks To Tell Us About

Cork has gotten the go ahead to build a skatepark ar Tory Top Road Ballypheane,about a mile from the centre of town.Im led to believe its the same plan as what was giong in Kennedy Park about two years ago.There are mixed opionions about wheather it will be suitable or not...we dont a Waterford mistake type of park at all.Its being titled as a "pilot project"so if its used alot another one will follow ...on the other hand if its a total pice of u know what then no one is going to bother with it and we'll never get another one.

Has the Gorey skate park opened yet...any links to photos or video footage from it?

Nice one Shaggy for the info.Cork is getting four in total.Ballypheane on the southside and the maradyke near the cricket grounds is where the second one ballincollig as in the list above and also theres still talk of one as part of the docklands development over the next few years.I have newspaper articles posted at me site:http://www.irishextreme.tk

Im afraid not, at the moment anyway,the cork co council one is going to be in ballincollig.You should get yer act together now for next years funding race??Otherwise a council area nearer to the city will get one again!!

the gorey and greystones parks are sick. and the dublin parks as well.

Why has nothing else been built since all this has been promised? Cork still has not got a park and we have been promised one since the arcadia comp in 98.
