    Help please,

I set up a buddy's new laptop to dial Eircom on their "free" number, to find out that he uses Smart Telecom as his call provider. Will he be charged more than the 5.04c p/m between 0800 & 1800, and 1,26c between 1800 & 0800? The reason I ask is here I tried searching, hence the previous link, but could find no definite answer. I'd hate him/them to get a massive bill in a month or two's time as a result of a favour!

All help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As that thread points out Eircom dont have a free number - what number did you set him up to use?

    http://home.eircom.net/products/ and http://home.eircom.net/products/flatrate/#

Smarts call charges are listed here - http://www.smarttelecom.ie/residentialrates.htm

No mention of 1892 numbers why not call them and ask them what the charge?

    Hi dub45,

Thanks for reply. By "free" I meant non-subscription, Flat Rate etc. Thanks for the links, and if that doesn't give me the info I'm looking for, I'll ring them.

    Cheers.

    P.S Set him up on 1892 150150
