I just took a spin around East Galway City. I could only see one Bonfire been built and that was up beside the Mervue Shops. It is pissing rain out though. Did anybody see any big ones around ?

The fewer the better. A really rainy night would be good - that said I really dislike haloween and have already disconnected the door bell in anticipation of the annoyance to come...

Bastard, didn't you have any childhood? Just give em sweets and make em fatter. Yeah that's right, Halloween contributes to childhood obesity.

Bonfires are class, until all the scumbags come down to throw animals in it etc...

Bonfires are great if they're held in a suitable place and properly supervised. However, in large urban areas the venue often ends up being in the middle of a kids playground or a public pitch or somewhere like that. Anything that can be grabbed from anywhere is burned and you'll sometimes find kids at them aiming fireworks at passing people and cars.

strangely enough ... not one caller at our place last night ... :)

they must know I'm an anti social buzztard :)

few bangers went off around the place ... but I guess I'll just know not to cook sausages again ...

was there anything on the telly at all ? :) still love those 3d glasses and movies they used show every so often :)

This is the first year ever that ive not done something traditional like bonfire/out n' about etc.

I went to the GPO cause of the weather... The rain really put a downer on things but Sh1temare on Eglinton Street was good craic... rocking the boat on the floor of the dancefloor!

I played poker with danniemcq (and my god he whooped our asses), then waddled around town for hours in what was actually a really good, drink free night.

Unfortunately one was working til eleven, dressed as a prisoner... and attempted to get into the GPO, which just wasn't happening!

    Damn place closed!

Went home.... watched bonfires and plotted the eradication of this worthless planet.... Mwhahahaha!!!!

    (ate ice-cream too)

    I don't like bonfires...

I watched movies at my Girlfriends house all day and ate an unholy amount of junk food.

Idle Hands, Ginger Snaps, Dead End.....twas a great day/night :)

btw - Ginger Snaps and Idle Hands and Dead end are the names of movies.....just so everyone knows

Apparantly one out in oranmore, down by oakfield got a little out of hand... something about 14 year old lads, throwing highly flammable things onto the fire!
