Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whats the story with BBC commentators and Andy Cole?
Ever since he's been with Man City, the BBC are calling him "Andrew Cole".
I've noticed it on MOTD and tonight on BBC5 live.
Are other media outlets doing this?
    Did he request it?

Seems a bit odd... anyone else notice it?

He's been Andrew for a few years now. I guess when you reach a certain age Andy starts to sound like a kids name!

Cheers for the replies lads... so I'm not the only one who noticed :)

Speaking of names, whats Paul Gascoigne calling himself these days?
Didnt he rebrand himself as "G8" a few months ago?

I think that was just for a laugh round the time when he was on Sky's "The Match" last year.

good to see a man u fan not begrudge him... especially now he's with city!

I agree though... he was amazing with the Magpies and class with Utd (even if he is more known more his misses than goals).
Still shows the ability with City.... a great signing for them.

In fairness, its hard to begrudge Cole anything at this stage - a great servant for Utd. and integral to their Treble success of '99. Ah, those were the days.....I think im going to cry now! :D

Gr8 player still tapping them in for Mancity, (hes getting a bit older so hes not banging them in anymore :D )

Was a great top shelf player at Newcastle and ManU, played well at Blackburn but had conflicts with Souness (as did Yorke) so i think BB failed to get the best out of him, Look what Stuart Pearce is doing with him at City this year...proves Pearce is five times the manager Souness will ever be.
