    watching tv last night
    caught a prog on bbc1
    something like watchdog

BT are apparently, placing their high time users
of their unlimited access to the internet
(which is priced at 15 pounds sterling)
onto different servers via a new phone number
these users found trying to access was nearly impossible
and if they did, only to be disconected after a short time
it showed one person trying for ten attempts

the programe got an internal BT document that stated
this ploy was to make these hi users switch away from
the unlimited service, and if they tried to contact the help lines
they were to be passed off.

but we dont have to worry cause we dont have
    unlimited access deals in Ireland

Obivously you don't know why the IrelanfOffline group was set up or even heard of esats surf No-Limits. Check the irlandoffline form on the boards here and u'll see that Esat already have done this by banning 2000 of its heaviest users. BT tried to be more devious in their attempt after seeing what happened here.
    Check it out Here
