Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I have a few Digibeta tapes I want to transfer to my G5 / FCP HD.

    Anyone much experience doing this with a Sony J3 series player?

    Did it quite recently with seven tapes. (I think it a Sony J3 we used)

    One thing that caused trouble was blasted green frames every now and then. Pay close attention to the rushes as they go in - if you spot a green frame it means that the picture and sound have gone out of synch by up to a second.

    It caused me hassle as I had to then go and re-synch several sections of my rushes.

    Now this could have just been the deck we were using but keep an eye out just in case.
