My Sigma Dvd-player swallowed my dvd and refuses to either to play it or to release it. It displays a continuous loading symbol when you switch it on.
The dvd in it is legitimate and region 2.
None of the function buttons work during this loading bit,
and it keeps loading forever until you cut the power source.

Already unscrewed the box but can't see any way of letting it release the dvd.
It has succefully given me entertainment over the past 12 months or so.
    What is wrong with it?
So, where can i get this fixed and how much will it cost?
No warranty with it in ireland (it's belgian bought)
    Any place in galway recommended?

If it's just a bog-standard DVD player, I'd recommend just replacing the unit. New DVD players can be got for sometimes less than what it would cost to repair it.
