Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The following has been posted on WWE.com:

Joey Styles, the voice of ECW, arrived at 1:45 p.m. ET to San Diego’s IpayOne Center at the Sports Arena via limousine.

Styles was immediately taken behind closed doors, but agreed to do an interview WWE.com as soon as his meeting with WWE officials is over.
    From Rajah.com:
Former ECW announcer Joey Styles is currently backstage at the site of tonight’s WWE PPV, Taboo Tuesday. He will be commentating tonight’s PPV with Jerry Lawler. WWE.com got a chance to sit down with Joey this afternoon and speak to him about how he came to be the announcer for tonight’s show, his future with WWE and ECW, Jim Ross and more.

Below are highlights from todays’ interview:

    - Joey Styles was invited to Taboo Tuesday by Executive Vice President of WWE Television Production Kevin Dunn. Because Jonathan Coachman will be “getting his head kicked in” tonight, WWE needed a replacement announcer and called him.

    - As far as he knows, this is a one-time appearance and there are no immediate plans to bring Joey in as part of the RAW announce team as a replacement for Jim Ross.

    - Styles said he believes Jim Ross was the greatest play-by-play man in the history of the industry. If he could commentate along-side anybody, it would be JR. While nobody could replace Ross, Joey feels he’s the next best option currently available.

    - He is looking forward to commentating with Jerry Lawler tonight, as the two have never called a match together.

    - His primary job is with an advertising agency based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He still makes occasional wrestling appearances and is the part-owner of a wrestling news-based website.

    - To summarize, Styles said, “I’m under contract now to WWE as the ECW announcer and I’m available at the company’s convenience. When they need me, they take the hammer and break the glass box that says “in case of an emergency, and you need an announcer, break glass.”
