Rightio this is teh list of P3ons I shall take are coming, Now that i have a rough estimate then I think I might be able to get somemore sorted,
Elexes and Ivan, Hubs and Cables would be a must as the apparent one that was supposed to be bought from the last lan never got bought .....
but all the monies from this one will go towards prizes, if there is enough then I can poss get some Wingmen mice , opticals and other ****, whatever the budding Gam0r likes, also Make sure yee have accommodation arranged as its on a bank holiday weekends and I think abou 7 would be the Max I could fit into the FAS room Downstairs ( and sleeping in the Same room as Ivan is a bit scary, ya Fear going to sleep)
Anyways on wiv the list, I'll need all this ppl to email a new email im setting up fo the Lan and I'll get a mailing list arranged...

I think some QW could be rustled up. Q3 too even. But cmon Zero ffs, learn to play Counterstrike like everyone else. Then, when some kids whip you round the place, you can challange then to DM4 dueling, and get yer own back.

Hmmm, just sazw my earlier post.
I'm laed to believe that MindPhuck thought I was redirecting this thread to the CS boards.
I guess I was, but not in the context I think he saw it in.
More like try ing to get everyone gping to it to stick to theone thread so everyoine can be informed froma single source. Also to assuade spamming.
At the time of posting, I believe,m the CS boards simply had more replies by different ppl, hence my chosing of it.

Also, I'm a bit p1ssed off at ppl who say they come, on condition we provide a PC, then 5 days before it goes live they start b!tching about the cost of train fairs and how they have to go to another 'unnamed' LAN in north-west munster.
Those PCs have now been freed but it was really the last thing the ppl organising it needed. IT's being donw on relatively short notice (the last GLan had about 4-5 months to germinate. This had about 5 weeks).

Ppl joke about the immaturity of CS players (which in a hell of a lot of cases is justified) but this is one example of the immaturity of certainQuakeheads. I only found out they weren't coming cos Sandman txted me. (however he got my mob number is beyond me, but anyways.......) One of em coulda at least fired off an e-mail to the address with the names of ppl who would be pulling out. God knows the address has benn spammed enough. The BB code makes it even easier, provided you have a POP email (which any homebased person should), you just 'click' on the address and type the mail. Then push the mouse over the send button and 'click' once more. Job done.

*This is not an attack on Quakeheads or the ppl who decided they couldn't come, that's sound, just wish ye had told someone directly instead of leaving it till the last minute. If we don't come up with the numbers for the lan veveryone else will have to cough a bit more up on the day. Which wouldn't imporve things. At all*
