The UCD Equality Studies Centre in association with RTE

    invite you to a

    PUBLIC DIALOGUE

    on

    EQUALITY AND THE MEDIA

to be broadcast on "Tonight with Vincent Browne"

Thursday 10 November at 7:30 pm

Room C 108 - John Henry Newman Building - UCD

    (Participants to be confirmed shortly.)

The media play an important role in Irish society in both reinforcing
    and challenging inequality.

Do the media give enough attention to analysing the causes of and
    solutions to inequality?

Is it feasible to give more attention to the questions?

What are the factors that prevent (different organs of) the media
giving more attention to these questions?

What can be done about them?
