Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    naa my bad for thinking that was real just watched it again and apart from the net moving once the three "pro" footballers in the background side footing tha ball around with poor first touch as if their life depended on it. best ad i have seen in a while mind

    Another question, did he really hit the crossbar at the end of the commercial where he crossed the ball lol. Also one nike ad where Zidane took a ball onto his foot which was dropped from a window high up was done in one take and was real.

    CGI was definately used for this advert.
    Look at around 2m 22secs in..... keep your eye on the ball and the black nike adboard behind.... part of the ball "disappears" behind the board as Nike have digitally placed their ad over whatever ad was there. Bad slip up by the editing team tbh.
    With regards how it was made.... I'd say there was a person beside Ronaldinho who threw a new ball to him each time he kicked the ball away... the flight of the ball doesn't look convincing and looks like CGI.
    Add some sound effects and edit out the person throwing the ball (real ball only "appears" just before Ronaldinho chests it).

    Of course that Ad is fake.
    The ball seems to accelerate off the cross bar.
    I was watching Futbol Mundial the other day and they were showing a clip of Ronaldinho doing a few tricks against a green screen.
    He had no ball and was pretending to be juggling the ball.
    They were basic tricks he was miming yet they had to use a green screen.
    You cant believe any of these ads these days.

    Bit off topic but I once managed to kick a football off the ground the length of a baskeball court directly thru the hoop at the opposite end (No backboard used) two times in a row.
    The 3rd attempt hit the rim.
    An amazing feat but it required alot of luck.
    Pity I didnt have in on video,else I could have sent it to Nike :D

    :D The guy in purple looked more like Rooney than Ronaldinho tbh.

    Excellent stuff. In regards to teh original ad, yes it was faked. Look at the flight of the ball. The only one that comes close is the 1st shot, the others are below and above the bar and still magically the ball comes back!

    Also Zidane who Id rate as the best player since Maradonna said it was impossible is enough for me.
