Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Music Stores and stocking Irish Bands

I went into a large cd store in Cork tonight to buy "Souveniers" by The Frank & Walters. They had not a copy in stock.

I had to order it. This is a disgrace.

What chance have new bands getting the cds into record stores that see themselves as our home team for music?

Which CD store was it? Is it a new CD?

Usually Tower Records in Dublin has CD's by good young Irish bands, although they charge a fair bit. The best way to buy music of a band that you like is at the gig, that way there is little or no hidden costs.

Phantom FM have a new secure web store online and will have a policy of selling Irish artists only. If you are an artist with an album that you would like to make available through the store, please drop us a line and we can discuss further.
