Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How do I manage file sharing etc and any networks I have created in windows XP. Does anyone else agree that windows sucks at this?
Is there any other software that I can use to manage all my networking.?

    Thanks,
    Hakko

just in general manage file sharing, turn it on, off etc. I mean how do you turn it off it's on now.
Also, I was messing around there and created an ad-hoc network..How do i go about deleting it.
Is there any decent guides on wifi with XP. because I dont no if im sharing my BB connection or all my files etc.
I hate this cause im not exactly in control of what my wifi card is doing.

Microsoft sell Windows Server as a more expensive product. That's why sharing from windows home/pro doesn't work so well.

If you aren't sure turn off file sharing till you figure it out.

Novell can be used to manage networks but its very expensive, I've never had any problems with Windows File Sharing on my wireless network
