Thanks to an increase in my disposable income, I've gotten the urge to fill a particularly bare part of my front room with an old arcade game (or pinball machine). The only trouble is, I haven't got a clue about where to start. Anyone got any tips?

i've always wanted one of those in my house too. imagine walking in through the door on a sunday morning after a night out and spotting that Super HangOn machine just waiting to be played :)

there are plenty of vendors over the internet. http://www.arcadeheaven.co.uk/ , http://www.arcadewarehouse.com/, is the UK ones i found which can deliver to Ireland. other then that, you can try an old amusement centres in Dublin and just ask if they have any machines to sell, cabinets more importantly cause you can always order a board off the internet. just the other day while on the bus going home, i've seen an old arcade shop just accross the Connoly dart station entrance(old one) and under the bridge. through the window i could see some arcade machines stacked next to each other. you can start there.

also, the older the games (classics) the more expensive they get. i always wanted a coffee table with a bit of style :D

I've wanted an arcade machine ever since I seen the film Big :)

Some of them are quite expensive though - but I'd love something like Street Fighter in my living room
