Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have been getting this since last week ... and the first page doesn't display properly either, the nav bar at the right is much wider than before and the main frame doesn't load. All other page are ok if very slow.
Using Opera 5.12 (however, identifying as IE5).

We are hoping to move to a bigger box and onto Unix soon.
In the meanwhile I think we'll have to up that 30 sec thing... tho it also seems to depend on the quality/speed of your line...

    To paraphrase Amp:

I heartly endorse this bug and/or suggestion when my connection is slow.

Slightly larger timeout values would help.

Yup it's all to do with your connection. It's usually fine, but if I start downloading anything it's impossible to load the first page at all.

    Unix! wan! :)

Er... does that mean that the IOFFL site will go to UNIX too?

Well its not about to happen today or tomorrow but I expect it will happen in the next 3 months.

We have to plan the migration but one way or another we'll have to plan how we are moving everything over.
If you dont want to alter the asp bits to php or something, we can find another server to host IOFFL on, dont sweat the small stuff.
