Overclockin a DELL

The father is dead set on getting a new DELL dimension. Great company - great machines but can i overclock any of the new ones available? if i can ill recommend that model to him. Any help would be appreciated.

You will probably be able to overclock any
Dell PC in windows using softfsb but u will
have to do this every time you boot up. The bios and motherboard will not have any options for raising the bus speed so
thats about all the options you will have. Dell do not endorse overclocking. If you
want an overclockable or pre overclocked
PC at a lower price than dell then let me know

why dont you just get him to buy a kick ass pc that doesnt need to be overclocked and just enjoy your machine until it becomes obsolete in about ohhhh 12 days time
