has anyone played Quake 3 TA with a Geforce 2 GTS ?

i got my GF2 the other day and it seems pants while playing quake3 at 1024*768. iv got the newest driver from nvidia that includes the OpenGL 1.3 ICD, but its awfull slow.

anyone got any serious tweaking ideas for it?

my V3 could pull of 1024*768 at about 35fps which is ample.

    help Moi!!!!

Flame, go to your display options in windows and into the GeForce 2 GTS/Open GL tabs. Make sure vsync is turned off. Also check that fullscreen antialiasing is off, as this can seriously cripple your framerate. You might want to disable anisotropic filtering too.
