    Hi Guys,

I have here an old laptop with a faulty screen. Are there places around that'll fix em, and if so is it generally worth it?

*bows and scrapes before the "Boards Overlord"*

All depends on how old it is... I have a 486 75mhz thing here, broken screen, I was told it wouldn't be worth it.

As for where... hell if I know. :) Lemme know if you find somewhere though.

A laptop screen is a laptop screen and will always be pricey. Anywhere from about £300 upwards depending on size, type, and how easy it is to get the specific one to fit your lappie.

Bear in mind that I've seen 500Mhz+ laptops going for £4-500 with reasonable HDDs and RAM... so maybe a new lowspec laptop is what you need.
