WARNING - Do NOT Use the Public Zone Chat Rooms
Initially this item was not posted as it wasn't known how true it was nor how well spread the information was. The initial report was that there is a bug in the Zone login scheme that is allowing people to log into an account without using the password. It is readily apparent to everyone that this is a nightmarish situation. Reports continue to come in that this is indeed the case, so for the time being, DO NOT use the public Zone Chat rooms. Your only safe guard against a situation like this is for them not to know your Zone ID.
Also note, sharing information on how to repeat this bug could possibly result in permanent banning from our boards. Even if you feel you are doing the community a service, do NOT share this information here. All information should be sent to bugs.zone.com.
