I've got a 3com usr modem and for the life of me i can't get it to connect at anything lower than 50,666 unless its 33.6 etc.

I'm using the init string from lagless.com on limiting connect speeds section for usr modems but it does'nt work. Can anyone help me?. I get bad pings and a hell of alot of lag with this connect!!!

afaik in the modem properties you can use the slider bar to limit it to 38000
why not check out the 3com website and see if they have any strings that you can use to limit it to 44000. thats what i did and im fairly stable, most of the time....
