Much to the dislike of many of you it seems, Game-Ireland is now online (bar a few glitches) and officially launches today. Here's the official press release and propaganda...

    "Welcome to Game-Ireland"

    *Rustles through newspaper*

    *Takes sip of tea*

Ah, there you are. Good day and welcome to the first of hopefully many days
spent at Game-Ireland.com, Ireland’s premier gaming website. Rising from the
ashes of Consolefan, Game-Ireland is set to be the Net’s greatest gaming
resource. So sit tight, don’t go anywhere, and stick around for the best in
gaming knowledge that Ireland has to offer – we’ll be back after this brief
    history.

Game-Ireland had its roots in collaboration between Noel Brady, one of
Ireland’s leading videogames journalists, and Darren Mooney, a games
journalist and website designer. With tens of years wasted playing games
between them, they set out to produce the definitive Irish gaming
publication. Consolefan was the end result of that collaboration, and hosted
by the Gamesta network, with some of Ireland’s most talented journalists
working on it, it instantly became a hit.

So much a hit, in fact, that it outgrew its roots. Having become the most
popular site on the Gamesta network, it was decided that Consolefan needed
its own domain name and freedom. Thus, five months down the line,
    Game-Ireland is born.

History lesson over. Now it’s time to bring Irish gaming to the world. What
with Consolefan being incredibly brilliant, we’re going to be carrying on
its splendid tradition of the best in gaming news, reviews and previews, all
    from our uniquely Irish perspective.

But Game-Ireland is not going to be just Consolefan in fancier clothes.
Game-Ireland will be the best of gaming websites, updated six times a week,
and have the latest in news, previews of the best upcoming games, exclusive
before-release reviews, interviews with the people who shape the games
industry, and the best of features about the industry, all written by
    Ireland’s finest gaming journalists.

We’ll leave you to it. But stop by every day for the latest and greatest in
gaming information. We’ll be here, bringing Irish gaming to the world. Head
    on over to www.game-ireland.com.

otherwise it seems nice, i woulda liked to see some sort of comments thing to comment on storys kinda like slash but suited to ur site

    and spot the typos: wink.gif

    3 points to make.
your evil is good snippet. you didnt mention once the choice of a thousand evil people...dungeon keeper. hmm, as the game says, its evil to be this good.
2)if you want a good interview with an irish developer, the guy that developed(orhelped or something) alpha centuri was irish and like to chat about himself. he did it on irc a couple of months ago. cant remember off hand what his name is. anyway, do yer own reserch, im only giving help smile.gif
    3) the layout of the site sucks. sorry, but tis true. its too sterile or something. at least take out the white background. make it beige or something. and get rid of the irish flag. it looks crap.
anyway, hope things work out fine
