Adam seems to be complaining a lot about Off-Topicness recently, so I have a WONERFUL idea!! Here you can just wander off in any direction you want and talk about everythin and all that kinda stuff that makes Adam hate us on the other threads. Y'know why? 'Cos it won't be off-topic! 'Cos thats what this thread is for! I'm such a genius, amn't I??

Do you mind if I change the subject....

It's just that....

I've recently noticed that the days have been getting shorter.

Now...I mean shorter. By about 5 minutes a day. And I'm scared.

I seem to vaguely remember the same thing happened last year...

I was out side playing footee as usual, when all of a sudden I noticed a rustling in the trees. A leaf fell from a tree!! So...being as sane as I am... I rushed inside and returned five minutes later with a cold compress in one arm and a tub of bandages in another, I rushed up the tree to find where the tree had been hurt. I swore, I'd kill the bastord who dun this to the tree.

I was half way up the tree, when I noticed something. It was 8 o'clock. But the sun was going down. It was also colder than usual. Something strange was afoot.

After repairing the tree, which now looked as if it had been involved in several lethal car crashes, I went inside and pondered. I pondered all until next morning.

Awaking to a crisp Irish morning I drew back the curtains, only to be gobsmacked by the sight I saw...

There, scattered all over the garden, were my bandages!! The tree now looked a sif it were dead. I pounded out the door.

I looked around, and then screamed a primalscream as I fell to the floor. The tree was dying. Tears filled my eyes as I gathered up the withered leaves. This tree. The tree of my child hood. Was dying.

I went in the door at 8 o'clock, and looked over my shoulder.
Something was definantly wrong...the light was fast draining from the sky. A harsh breeze smacked me in the face and sent me flying. Knocked me out it did. A genuine KO.

I awoke hours later to find that I was in a hospital bed.

I awoke hours later to find that I was in a car, on my way home.

I awoke hours later to find that I was in my bed.

I awoke hours later to find that I was awake.

And then I went back to sleep again.

I awoke hours later to find that the tree was fast dying. It now had barely any leaves left at all.

I arose out of bed, to look in the mirror.

And there it was.

The SCARIEST thing since Kylie Minogues video for Can't get you out of my head.

The bandages were now on MY head. WHAT THE F()CK WAS GOING ON!?!?!?!

I had to do something. The trees were dying, the light was going, and the wind was trying to kill me.

And then it struck me...I knew what I had to do!! Unfortunately, when it struck me I got KO'd again.

I awoke hours later to find it was pitch black at 8 o'clock!!!!!




I was scared.




So I waited.




Actually I just stayed in my office with the lamp turned on. I hid in the corner, with a shot gun in my arms, rocking backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards....

And then eventually they found me.

I was a wreck.

I was convinced that they were the Evil Hell Beings of the Dark, that caused the light to fade, and the trees to die, and I was pretty sure they told the wind about the time I farted and blamed it on the wind.

So I shot them. Every last one of them. Mwahaha MWAHAHA


MWAHAHAHAHAHA

....And that's all I remember.

Strange though, you have to admit....

so michael how much of that was true? good writing i must say, you should enter it into a contest, with a little tweaking here and there...... ok, now for something completely different (<-- ahahahaa) ummmmmm. my snazzeriffic word of the day is CHOETTE which means neato which means ummm cool or rad or something. look forward to a new word every day! if i can get my act together and remember.
