Hewlet Packard www.hp.com had a font download where you put a font on the letter "E" (or was it "e"?) that turned it into a euro symbol. I'm not sure if it is still there.

    Gah! *slap*

Use the assigned character instead of custom fonts.

    ALT + 0128 (numeric keyboard) on W2K = €

In Unicode the symbol should be U+20AC (I think)

You may have to specify the fonts to print as bitmaps on some printers. It slows the printer down but works.

    Win95 needs a patch applied.

The Microsoft website is actually very good for Euro info.

Have a look at these links:

    http://www.hp.com/pond/euro/indexes/euro.html

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/euro.asp

You should always encode such characters in HTML/xHTML. For the Euro symbol you can encode it as € or €. You can use € too, but this won't work in all browsers.
