First off, you have left out some obvious choices, although I admit they may or may not be out during 'summer':-

    - Lord of the rings 2 (The Two Towers)
    - Harry Potter 2 (The chamber of secrets)

On to the more esoteric with potential...

    - Arac Attack (50s style B movie with effects. Cult potential)
    - Ghost Rider (the nick cage comic-2-movie fest)
    - Men in Black 2 (Bigger budget, jackson cameo, bigger effects)
    - Minority Report (Speilberg sci-fi summer flick with the cruiser)
    - Start Trek 10: Nemesis (Well the trekkies deserve a mention dont they?)
    - Terminator 3 (Doubtful, but still possible if shooting begins)
    - True Lies 2 (Bond-esque spoof sequel, good laughs)
    - X-MEN 2 (You know the drill, get your money ready...)

Hopefully next summer will be a bit better in terms of content than this one just gone, which has to rate as one of the most dismal on record.

That r&b singer Aaliyah died in a plane crash about 2 months ago. The 'Oracle' also died recently enough.

Reign of Fire looks interesting too - Christian Bale and Matthew McConaughey in a near-future action flick set in post-apocalyptic London. Neat concept too; work on the Jubilee Line extension wakes up the last of a race of dragons, who proceeds to be Mighty Píssed Off and lay waste to the world.

Could be very, very cheesy. Alternatively, could be utterly brilliant.

So you'll be right one way or the other. It must be great to be you, Shinji ;)
