    How do i convert quicktime movies to avi??

    Quicktime 4 (full version) has an option to export to avi I think..

    got to: file > export > .avi

    takes a while to do, 800k takes about 3mins for example.

    Yea it does (just checked it on me mac).

    One thing though, AVI sucks. MPEG is better.

    I want to change it to avi, cause mpeg videos skips frames on my nearly 3 year old pc frown.gif .Are avi and mpeg files the same size eg. 5meg mpeg video = how many megs in avi format? + will windows media play play the exported file in wide screen?, or is there a program i can get that will?

    avis are usually bigger, depends on the rate and resoloution tho.
