This one comes so highly recommended that I ordered it from here yesterday.

I'm waiting on it to arrive so I cant give you my opinion yet, but it comes from a good source and its quite cheap.

Got the adapter, installed it, its great.

    I'll give you an example.
I play CS on |.RaDoX.| a lot. With my old TA (Eircom Supplied) I was getting pings in the region on 160 to 200 on average.
With the new one (arrived Thursady) I'm getting 60 to 130. Its a great improvement and even tho I'm still crap its improving most of my games.

[edit] All pings are Single channel[/edit]

Thats the one you want alright.

Pimp ninja thats a very inconsistent fluctuating ping.Change your isp, you should ping sub 100.

Eircom supplied TA = serious pantage

The Asuscom is supposed to be very good; if you can't be bothered importing, an Eicon Diva, available from IT Direct for £80 or so, is a good substitute.

The results were with 3 different ISP's (4 dialup numbers)

The ping of 60 to 130 reflects across all ISP's used, not just the best one.

Best was a steady 70 to 80 on Buy and sell, held for about 2 hours.

Average is 90 to 110 on same ISP.

Others tested were Eircom (local and 1850 lo-call) and Oceanfree.

That really doesn't prove anything about the modem or the ISP. That server is in Esat, so obviously if you dial an Esat ISP you'll have less hops to the server and a lower ping.
