Praised at launch back in October '99 as "already an industry benchmark", Boo.com launched amid a bit of a fanfare, getting wide coverage on MTV, Eurosport and popular magazines worldwide.

What was a truly ambitious project became Europe's first big dot-com failure just over six months after it's launch. Boo is dead. Poor old Boo. - This is the way things go, I guess....

There was so many things wrong with that site it was doomed to die. Mainly was the fact that the site was aimed at tracksuit wearin creamers who funnily enough wouldn't even have access to a puter.
