    Just to let y'all know.......(seeing that nobody else mentioned it:))

    The Blackout got a mention in the Irish Independants Business Section yesterday, in the e-news section on page 8 (opposite our fearless finance minister Charlie Mac)

    its not that big (so not worth a scan) but heres the text....
    Web Blackout Planned

    IrelandOffline, a pressure group whose stated aim is to bring affordable internet access services to Ireland, has announced the IrelandOffline Blackout, a boycott of the internet On 16/11/01. The aim of the protest is to highlight the lack of of flat rate and broadband internet services in Ireland. IrelandOffline believes the boycott will send a clear message to ISP's about the the current costs and available services.

    Notably leaves Eircom out of the text though, only mentinoing "ISps"
