    Should gamespy have to refresh all servers each time it starts up or have i got it configured arseways

    this is most troublesome, especially when updating halflife, guake and operation flashpoint every time i restart the computer.

    to edit the filters go to the drop down menus>

    gameSpy > Games and filters

    to stop refreshes on start up go to
    tools > options > and the first checkbox is for "refreshes on startup"

    ok this is the way my gamespy is set up

    gamespy>log out, edit profile,options, scan for games,player matching, open url, show download manager, exit
    game>join game, refresh game server list, add favourite server, marked servers are unbound, server list options, game info..
    server>
    playerspy>
    links> etc. etc

    so dbc i cannot seem to do things the way that you said
