Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If their advertising revenue is not all that it should be, surely it's all the more reason to increase their number of viewers, and then increase their rates ?

Its only in the last 6-9 months, that ITV have acutely noticed the problems of On Digital. ITV still thought that their pay-TV platform had enough of a draw to leave ITV1 and ITV2 off Sky Digital.

The amount of football that ITV Digital has is the only draw for that platform, in its present state.

Yes, ITV's audience share will increase now that it is on Sky Digital, and boy, have they noticed that it doesn't pay to stay away.

(Note: ITV2's potential audience multiplyed 5 times since joining Sky Digital, that's how low it was!)

So you'd think that ITV2 would want to get into the homes of the nearly 200 thousand subscribers that Sky say they have in the Republic.

Certainly E4 must have realised that it makes commercial sense (along with all the channel owners who make their services available on Sky Digital Ireland).

Why do I get the feeling that viewers in the Republic are suffering because of UTV's bad realtionship with the other ITV companies ?

Perhaps we'd all be better off if UTV was bought out by Granada or Carlton. Let's face it, they couldn't make worse local programmes.
