    I think I heard somewhere before that the eircom logo was very similar to some american telecoms company. Anyone know which one?

    This couldn't be true could it considering eircon spent 1.5million on their "new name" excluding the other millions spent on stationary, signs changes etc... ;)

    It's true. Have a look at the third page of this. There's a lot of telecomm companies with the same-ish logos.
