You know the ctrl+alt+del login prompt.......

How to you get that login screen to show the 'tick this box for localmachine' box?

    thanks

Depends on how you have it set up.

AFAIR. If you have it set up to link to a domain then you can choose between local machine and domain, otherwise it defaults to the localmachine.

The system could also be using a Novell login. If it is then once you press ctrl+alt+del tick workstation only, then click advanced and then select the windows nt tab and select the domain/local machine you wish to log into.

ok...yee seem to be missing the point,
in NT you can set it so that you can only login to the domain....
I want to know how to do this / undo this!

Does anyone know where is option is to set a user to be able to login/not login to the local machine?

    thanks

Ahh, I see what you mean now. What you do is login with admin privileges and go to administrative tools and then click user manager. In there click on policies/user rights/logon locally. Remove the likes of everybody/domain users and add the individual user you want to be able to logon.
