Another Irish Times article while everyone was taking part in the blackout. A lot of catching up to do, then. It might be just me, but the above two quotes seem to contradict eachother.

Valentia Telecommunications will maintain investment in Eircom at a "level which is in line with its European peers".

A lot of catching up to do, then.

Valentia has also said that it "intends to continue to run the business of Eircom in broadly its existing form".

It might be just me, but the above two quotes seem to contradict eachother.
