I have a 98' Ford Escort , its a nice enough car but it doesnt stand out from the crowd.:)

So i am looking for body/sports kits to fit onto it.

i was wondering if anyone would know any irish websites or garages in the Dublin,Meath,Louth area where i could find out how much they would cost etc..?

ok , know any websites where i can import from?

and the punt - sterling change over would pretty much make the prices the same.

There is a car shop in kildare that sell all types of car modd`s for very good prices. I think it called carnoisor but i`m not sure. Will look it up and get back to u on it.
They have everything u need to alloy`s bodykits and engine tuning.
It is a british own shop so the price`s r very in-exspenive.

You should have gone to the 'Motorsport International' in the RDS last weekend. It had everything to keep the avid boyracer happy.

1st thing I must say is "Kali! - you lucky dude ! Comma girls!"

    2nd thing is.....

Yes do go to UK for any body kits or mods for cars(although I prefer to buy Irish)...

If it was a Jap car, I would say go to the guy in Limerick as he does US-imports (cant think of name.. anyone??)

draffodx...If I was you, run into Easons and pick up a copy of Performance Ford...they have some really nice kits...

    Just remember a few things...

    1) Don't go for low kits if yer car isn't lowered...it will look naff

    2) Be careful about what Front Splitter you go for...remember Irish Roads and Parking Kerbs, etc

    3) Dont go for plastic, go for Fibre-Glass or composite. (better for paint jobs)

    4) Do get a good sprayer/bodyshop to spray/fit your kit. Make sure that the kit your have is for YOUR car...as Fords are made in 3 different countries in Europe and sometimes their fittings and trimmings differ.

    5) finally....DONT DONT buy over your budget....some of these kits are for 'show-cars' which are totally over the top in $$$'s...(e.g. Concept Futura kits)

If ya need more advice, gimmie a shout...

    James.

I've no idea. Sometimes they see a post on a forum they visit, and decide to help, ignoring the date of posting.
Anyhoo's, to ensure that I don't get a warning fro being offtopic, http://www.nmeperformance.com/ does a nice job. I saw a modded car in the local area eralier today. Nice body kit :)

Last week I saw a lowered car with a deep front end which has clearly been driven straight against a pavement edge, I laughed.

    Sorry! :o
