if hotmail supports pop access then any mail client under the sun should be able to access it.
except pine perhaps.
try pegasus or eudora if your that desperate, i'd prefer OE to both of them by far though.

I think its the other way around, Outlook-X 5 specifically supports HTML mail systems. It has the settings for hotmail built in, but you could use it for any other so long as you have the server details.

I don't know of any others that do the same.
