    I have 2 qeustions here actually.

    1.
    Has any1 of ye tried playing Deus Ex multiplayer ?
    I mean,I tried it tonight (56k) and couldn't even connect to the bloody server.
    it seems that DNA Games have a couple of them but since I cant play on them I have no idea what they're like.

    I want to hear your views on this.

    I was just thinking - how about a Deus Ex board ??
    I think it would be put to good use.

    No need for one. See http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php? s=&threadid=35821 for reasons why, just change any mentions of 'op flash' to 'deus ex'.

    Yeah, tried it when the patch was first announced. I found it horrible. When Deus Ex was first released I really wished for multi-player, but it just doesn't work at all.

    Yeah - it doesn't sound like it would be something that would work but I was curious.
    I havent seen many servers for it either.

    Deus Ex MP is bloody magnificent on LAN, nothing is better than killing someone with a random LAM u set 10 mins ago, or killing them with the grenade they planted ages ago, but u reset, or going round with silent, cloak, + speed enhancement

    DE is supposed to excellent online, but like Op Flash, there tends to be more muppets than serious players. Play it on a LAN and it'll be brilliant. I'm hoping it'll be at that big LAN in Cork next Aug.

    When I try to connect to an internet game, all that happens is -
    It sits there on the screen stating : Connecting To Server (F10 Cancels)
    and it shows the IP address and all the other crap.

    But It just sits there doing nothing.

    Why wont it connect to the server or for that matter load the map ?

    Is it the simple fact that I'm using the 56K ?

    obviously LAN Deus Ex is the way to go.

    This isn't a Multiplayer qeustion but is critical to my playing experience.

    The Visual Enhancment Augmentation :
    If you upgrade to TECH LEVEL 2 - You Get the INFRAamp or whatever
    (the infra-red vision thing)
    When You switch on the Visual Enhancment Aug (by pressing F8)
    The default setting that comes on is LIGHTamp (Tech Level 1)
    I can see (written above LIGHTamp is INFRAamp)
    How The Hell do you switch the Visual Enhancment Aug to
    use INFRAamp ??!!

    I've tried alot of things and have not succeeded.
    Its not written anywhere about it (as far as I know)

    Some1 point me in the right direction ??

    Finished Deus Ex today.
    Sad to see that the journey is over though. :(

    Bring on Deus Ex 2 is what I say !!

    Multiplayer is working for me now over the internet.
    Turns out I just needed another patch.
