I was talking to someone (?) recently about reading the humour board, and it seemed like a good idea to have peer moderation along the lines of /. (Giving +/-1 scores per user, increasing post visibility)

Humour would seem to be a perfect place for it. Since we don't have the specific /. facility, how about readers start scoring jokes using the Thread Rating option? To work you'd need to score most threads.

It's a better option than looking at a joke with 6 replies and wondering if they say "lol, great joke" or "feck off with that crap"...
