Hi guys, is rambus memory worth the extra cost? Its slightly over twice as expensive. Dell claims its 116% faster than sdram, because it can be accessed multiple times per clock cycle. Boll0x it is. Go read all the stuff on Toms Hardware - he took apart Dells figures and showed them to be sh1te.

Use the extra cash to bug bigger sdram chips.

I agree, rambus is crap. Dell are only selling it because intel are forcing them too. Ridiculously expensive also
