    Does anyone know if there are any games coming out on budget this christmas?
    I know that Ground Control (an excellent RTS w/o resource management) is available in Game at a knockdown price, and there are a few other excellent titles available out on budget as well.

    What are the best budget games to get this Christmas - and are there any furthur budget launches due soon?

    Deus Ex has recently been released on budget, if you don't already have it, you MUST buy it.

    Other decent budget titles on release now or very soon are:
    Sam & Max hit the road/Day of the Tentacle combo
    Colin McRae 2
    Serious Sam
    Indiana Jones and the infernal machine
    Thief (only £7)
    Settlers 2
    Star Wars: Episode 1 racer

    Europa Universalas - if you like that sort of thing :)

    Z : Steel Soldiers is also approaching budget.

    Tbh it's best to have a list of good games and check their prices in a few shops. HMV never lower their prices while Virgin and Game never seem to have the same price on any title.
