All these new Boards ?

Could all these new boards be in some way contributing to the recent slowness of Boards.ie ?

It just seems to me that everyday there is a new Board and it seems to be that little bit slower all the time. I’m all for you guys expanding and I think it's great that u are expanding at an astonishingly fast rate ! But I have to ask if this recent broadening of horizons is causing the slowdown ?

I know you guys are upgrading your service atm, is that contributing to it ?

Indirectly yes, but I think that the blame really belongs to Eircom's predecessor, Telecom Eireann, which caused the Server to be located in the USA.

3. The optical fibre link interfacing with the wan card on the boards.ie home server is not running the latest patch release and thus causing the flux capacitor to run under 80 mph.

More likely to be the fact that the server is running IIS on Windows NT! --(accroding to netcraft.com)

The amount of people writing about the boards is relitively low compared to the posts on other topics.
