Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did anyone hear Pauline the Fianna Fail supporter on the Joe Duffy show today (Mon. 10/12/2001) ?

It was hilarious, she sounded like a total lunatic and I dare say if she had been in the same room as the poor sod who referred to the party as "a shower", she probably would have stabbed him.

Download (or stream) todays Real Audio file, priceless.
The clip in question starts at about 46 minutes into the show.

Gerry Stembridge could'nt make that up, proof if it were required that FFers' are crazed folk who have absolutly no sense of thier own inbred foolishness.

    True.

But at least they're not nearly as foolish as Labour/SF/Socialist "Worker" who think their fantasy-land policies might actually work - when all that would result would be a return to an economic backwater country on the outside of Europe.

I assume the Joe Duffy interview is hilarious - even though I can't actually hear it here.

    True enough Reefbreak,
Yes it was very funny in a Halls Pictorial/Scrap Saturday
    fashion.

Its a pity RTE don't run a proper archive, I think you only get a week to listen then its gone for good.

Better to try and achieve a fantasyish dream good world then to support the right wing domination of our nice country.

    Lets see..

    Would I prefer a
    a) "fantasyish dream good world" or more likely
    b) a country that's an "economic backwater" (for proof, see History - not some biased website written by an angry 16 year-old).

    or

    a) low umemployment
    b) a good standard of living and
    c) a healthy economy

with, as you call it, "right wing domination" of this country (even if that term is a pile of crap). I always have to laugh when I see Socialist "Worker" people struggling to find something to protest about. Now it's: "We demand a Fantasy Dream Good World NOW!

Another lefty/righty debate starts here..! :)
