How to delete stuff from your addy bar

    I am looking to delete url's from my address bar at the top of my browser.Is there any other way of doing this with out going into the reg and if not how is it done(running Xp)Thanks in advance.

    yeah, delete ur history and remove temporay internet files.

    Damn it Oj, that porn site you posted keeps opening more windows every time I close them... at least post some decent (and preferably free) porn sites.


    And yes, I do like completely missing the point of peoples posts...

    Deleting history won't get rid of the address bar auto-complete.
    Tools / Internet Options / Content / Autocomplete. Disable it all.

    The worrying one is when you type in "www." and up pops a bit list of porn sites. A definite sign that you need to invest in some boxing gloves, that.

    Yup, standard procedure:

    1. Help friend/family member setup nice new PC and internet connection 'for the kids'.
    2. Wait approximately 36 hours for phonecall asking how to delete the history and temp files.
    3. Wait a further 2 hours for friend/family member to think it won't seem suspicious calling you again to disable autocomplete...because it 'clutters things up', and 'you wouldn't believe what the someone else seems to have looked at'
    4. Wait another 3 days for them to believe that yes they finally know enough to cover their tracks and do you have any good p0rn links.
