Put it in a zip file, or get a proggie that can encode it into mpeg...

You could try turning it into an MPEG4 file

I've done this to...er....backup a movie or two and the quality is much better than MPEG1 for the size. Its been a while since I used it but I think you can re-encode an AVI aswell.
