Display Problems

Well my modem wasn't responding earlier today so I switched it to another PCI slot and rebooted. The PC then stalled while booting up so I had to start in safe mode.

After starting in safe mode I rebooted again and I was stuck in 640 x 480 with 256 colours. Windows prompted me that my display drivers wern't able to display my desktop correctly.

So far what i have done to no effect...

Reinstalled my detonator drivers (I have an nvidia tnt2 m64)

Removed my monitor and card from device manager

I also can't seem to find updated display drivers.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You more than likely have the modem in pci slot 1 or 5, and this shares irq signals with the agp slot on many motherboards. Normally it doesn't cause a problem. Have you tried switching the modem back, and then reinstalling the graphics drivers?
