An article in the Tech News section of the IOL homepage (itself quoting from the Independent) states that a London venture capital house is preparing a takeover offer for NTL's irish operation. Having read those articles-they made a loss whilst increasing their turnover here by a huge amount,during 2000 on the back of the celtic tiger and all the new houses.
What hope have they or any buyer of making moneynow in the current downturn-without drastic management improvements???
