yeah it sure did sell out, but I heard a rumour that there may be a second date added - they are playing the Olympia on 31st of march.

Support act to be announced next year, i hope it's the stripes or the hives but I've a feeling it might be a band called You and I

Why so happy about the strokes? did'nt they just play ireland??

they were like ok but nothing spectacular and actually a very short show.

nice guys though but honestly those 3 bands you mentioned the White Stripes the Strokes and The (ugh) hives are all just plastic rock bands.

I'm not going on some commercialism drive but as one reviewer said "they are bands for kids who were'nt around the first time, so they they might aswell try and relive the rock and roll scene of yesteryear by ripping them off"

slick musicians but lacking of any original thought in their music.

Why not instead of watching the strokes and the hives go Buy the Stooges and The pixies (the hives are ripping the pixies worse than the frames)

again like what you want but honestly there are so many better bands out there.

one being les savy fav who i feel don't get enough mention.

one of the guys who started masters of reality is in it.
they currently are working with Queens of the Stone Age, masters of reality that is......

whatever Hype is what is selloing these bands NME makes me sick

hmmm I have bought the pixies as well as the hives and i don't really see the comparison...I really enjoy both of their music and I dont see a problem with that. I think you're being too harsh saying these bands are rip offs.. sure you can hear influences in there but it doesn't bother me. Also i dont think hype can completely sell a band...even if they are hyped people can still make up their own mind about the music...as you have. I dont know about anyone else but im excited cos I hadn't heard of them when they played here a while ago. Well thats my two cents anyhoo
