Yes its me again....that rather insane horse...with another thought-provoking "thread".

Christmas......lots of good cheer....buying and receiving gifts for and from loved ones....mistletoe and holly....pudding and mince pies....the inspiring goodwill and 'spirit' of Christmas.....
    Doesnt it just suck??????

I dont know about you....but frankly....the idea of getting loads of novelty socks and money which I have to spend buying gifts for others and gaining several pounds in the space of a week or so......well it doesnt exactly appeal to me.

Am I just being a moany, ungrateful little b***h or do I have a point (now that would make a change)?

okay so you do have a point but in the end its the thought that counts really. not the thought of what you got but to know that you were on the persons mind when they were buying it. it maybe cheesy, it maybe corny but its Christmas dammit!! if it makes people more peacefully and happier for even one day a year then i'm all for it! what do you think?

NEVER spend more on presents than you are likely to recieve in said items.

    It's plain business sense.

Crazy you do post some mad messages. Better that the usual ****.( Bono is a poohead: What ****ed up bastard posted that one?)

Christmas is great. Lots of people make lots of money put we'll ignore that. Generally lots of people have fun and generally shop assistants are more happy ( thinkin of there Christmas bonus) .
If it wasn't this commercialised then it'd all be about Jesus and stuff. Who wants that. Speaking of Jesus whats everyones views on the meanin of life.

Monty Python will answer that one tonight yeah.

Thanks Poobags.....I guess it would be a lot worse if it was all about Jesus all the time.....thank God for Commercialism......it saves all us Atheists from listening to all that crap about religion all the time at Christmas.

If you want to know the meaning of life, I suggest you read "The Pursuit of Meaning" by Joseph B. Fabry.....that is if you dont find the answer from Monty Python first!

Hope u all had a nice commercialised Christmas!
