images found after deletion

right my friend shares his computer wif his little sis his mom and dad

god that sounds so fake o well

well for his x-mass pressent i gave him a cd full of donkey porn and stuff i had lying around .

so he looked at em then deleated them also deleated them from the recient list the temp internet files . but some how his dad found them and not on the cd how did he do it he said his dad said they were in the db but i cant rember anything like that

was his dad just bluffing him or did he actually find a db i dont know about that holds pics viewed

he used ie and adobe to view everything pic wise

Did he put them on the hd ? If so id he empty the recycle bin ? Or was he viewing them on the cd ? Did he delete the history in Internet Explorer if thats what he was viewing them with ?

Theres two files on windows user.dat and system.dat that logs most urls that you go to, maybe he viewed those. Most ppl don't know about that though.

Maybe delete the C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 folder?

Though I dunno how his dad woulda known of that

I think adobe has a recent opened list, when you go to file, at the bottom, it has the most recent 10 things that were opened

also, did he even clean "my documents" ?

1) Clean history in IE
2) Clean TEMP folder in windoes
3) Clean TEMP INT FILES
4) Clean My Documents
5) Make sure that watever image viewer u use doenst have the recent ly viewed files in the open, as OJ said. You should open a few safe images to make the trace nice n innocent, say "mycomputer.gif" instead of "wetgirl.jpg"

6) Buy, or rob, a copy of McAfees UninStaller. Its invaluable !!

Maybe it's time to go paranoid and look for some spyware present on the system? )
Anyway, you should do a global search in the windows registry for, say, "f:\" (or whatever letter in under cd-rom) and look what comes up.

I dont use Adobe so this is pure speculation, but does it create small thumbnails of recently viewed pictures perhaps?:o
