I need some. Very small amount. Eircom and esat appear to be about as fast as a paralysed three-toed sloth with an obesity problem. Also cannot have ads on the page Any suggestions?

You can search www.freewebspace.net for different webspace providers for what you want, like FTP access, amount of space, CGI etc.
They also have user reviews on the performance of some of the providers.

If you can use NT, try www.ewebcity.com, they are quite new but they certainly seem quite good. I do use them but only for testing stuff but I note they mail you if the site goes down, which at least shows honesty and a commitment to providing a decent service, beats some freebies!
